Contributor Guidelines
Everything you need to know before you send an article to Yuvaa Media.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. What we publish
We welcome original articles that help young readers learn, think and grow: career insights, management and leadership lessons, explainers on issues that matter, practical learning guides, reflections from experience, and well-argued opinions. Yuvaa Media is not a news service, so we do not publish breaking news or unverified reports.
2. What makes a strong article
- An original idea, experience or argument, not a summary of what is already widely available.
- Clear, simple language. Around 600–1,500 words usually works best (accepted range: 300–3,000).
- Facts that are accurate, with sources cited in the text or listed at the end.
- Respect for people and for differing views. Criticise ideas, not individuals.
- No self-promotion, advertising, affiliate links or requests for business.
3. Using AI tools
You are welcome to use AI tools to research, draft, edit or improve your article. You remain responsible for what you submit: check every fact, make sure the ideas and experience are genuinely yours, and do not copy other people’s work. Tell us honestly how you used AI; the options in the form are: No AI tools used; AI used for editing or language; AI helped with research or drafting; Large parts written with AI, reviewed by me. Plagiarism, including lightly reworded material from other sources, will lead to rejection or removal.
4. Photos and AI images
You may send one photo with your article: one you took, one you have a licence to use, or an image you created with an AI tool. Tell us the credit (for example “Own photo”, the photographer’s name, or “AI-generated”). AI images must not show real, identifiable people or real events in a misleading way. We may use a different image if needed.
5. Editing and publication
Our editors review every submission. Selected articles may be edited for clarity, length, structure, style, accuracy and legal reasons, and we may change the headline and summary. We will try to contact you before publication if the changes are significant. We aim to respond within two to three weeks, but we cannot reply individually to every submission and are not obliged to publish any article.
6. Credit
Published articles carry your name and, if you provide them, your designation, organisation and a link to your LinkedIn profile, along with a note that the views are your own. Your email address and contact number are never published.
7. Rights and payment
You keep the copyright in your article. By submitting, you grant Yuvaa Media a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, edit, display, share and archive it with credit to you. Contributions are voluntary and unpaid. You may republish your own article elsewhere after it appears on Yuvaa Media; we ask that you mention it was first published here.
8. Removal requests
If you want your article or your credit removed after publication, write to yuvaamedia.info@gmail.com. We will act on reasonable requests, though copies shared by others may remain outside our control.
9. Declarations you make when submitting
Every contributor must accept the following declarations (version v2 (October 2026)):
- This is my work and I have the right to publish it, along with any photo I send (my own, licensed or AI-generated).
- The facts are accurate to the best of my knowledge, and nothing in it is defamatory, hateful or copied without credit.
- These are my personal views, and I have mentioned any sponsorship or conflict of interest.
- Yuvaa Media may edit, publish and share the article with credit to me. I keep the copyright, and there is no payment.
- I am 18 or older and agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms. My email and phone number will not be published.
Making a false declaration may lead to removal of the article, and the contributor is responsible for any claims arising from content that breaches these declarations.
